hey!
okay prepare for a loonng post aight. haha. but im not gonna talk bout the whole week of last week, just going to skip to the weekend, heh.

FRIDAY.woke up for 2nd class as usual, but was real lazy to go to HOI(history of ideas) lecture, and nick suggested to go to Prime and get him another
fred perry shirt. haha. cause the week earlier was our 7th anniversary, and candice and i snuck out of HOI lecture to go to the city, get him that fred perry shirt and went back to class haha. and so i basically contributed to his dream of having a 100 fred perry shirts. 2 down 98 more to go haha. but i went to class, and sorta paid attention. lecture was on communism, boooriing.
went for drama practice after class, spent the whole lunch hour there. nick and i had a free period after lunch, so decided to go and shop around haha. walked around lygon, and bought myself 3 jackets, HEH. it was a clearance sale (: lost track of time, and soon it was time to go to my last class.
went for EAP(english for academic purposes), handed up an assignment and spent the class watching
"supersize me". its a dvd about a guy who eats only mcdonalds for 3 meals a day, 30days in a row. haha. and at the end of it. you'll get to see the amount of sugar and all those fast food did to him. was quite gross,
definitely should check it our if you want to restrain yourself from going into a fast food restaurant.
finished class, came back home. and soon, got ready for dinner. nick brought me to crown to eat at a french restaurant called
"Brasserie". was a nice restaurant, and the food there was seriously good. ordered some mussels, some bacon and cheese and something emulsion, mushrooms and lamb. there was rabbit on the menu, and lionel suggested we try it cause he ate it before, but aah, we didnt haha. oh and something funny happened, all throughout our dinner,
everything was like falling apart around us. all the waiters were somehow clumsy that night. one knocked a wine chiller, hit the table, dropped cutleries and all those things. i think there were like 5 of these minor "crashes" all happening around our table. i think somehow we brought them bad luck or something haha. but it was so funny that it happened one after the other, even the manager was like laughing and shaking her head. oh well haha.
went to watch a movie in the cinema after dinner. watched
"ugly truth". its a funny movie, go and watch it. even nick who warned me saying he'll definitely be sleeping in the cinema stayed up and watched the whole show haha. katherine heigl and gerard butler's in it.
finished movie around midnight, and left crown for home. i went to change and went over to nick's hse just opposite of mine. talked to chung abit, and felt like watching a movie, and chung said he wanted to watch "
hairspray", so yeah accompanied him to watch. but when we were walking down, nick said he wanted to wash up first. so okay, chung and i started first. but after like 15 mins, he still wasnt down! but i knew he was out of the toilet alr, i was like, what is this boy doing up there. i even went upstairs cause i wanted to take the blanket, but the door was locked. so like, okay, maybe he was talking to his parents or something. so i went down and continued watching the movie. soon, he came down and said he hurt his leg again and asked me to get the cream upstairs to massage him. but like HUH. he came down the stairs just to tell me his leg was in pain and asked me to go upstairs, where he was in the first place. but ah, i was good, so i said okay and headed up the stairs. but before i could take a step up the stairs, he covered my eyes and ordered to walk up. haha. i was like kinda
"omg what are you doing!" haha but i went on with it. when we stopped in front of his bedroom door, he let me go but told me to keep my eyes shut. with my eyes shut, i could feel the heat and smell candles so i was realy curious what he had done. and when i opened my eyes, this was what i saw.
he filled the whole room with candles! and he was at the end of that iron board with the " I ♥ U" holding a box. so he gave me the box and told me to open it. it was a tiffany box, and inside it was a ring with "
I love you" engraved 4 times on it on the outer side. and when he put it on me, it was a nice fit! haha it was later that i found out he brought candice to try it on for me, as he said our finger sizes were similar. aww (:
continued watching a lil bit of "hairspray" after that, and went to bed. woke up at round 9 the next morning, as he had football. after his football, went to meet everyone at il gambero for lunch. ate a whole load of pastas as engkit and zee and the waiter had a
miscommunication. haha. engkit and zee ordered a pasta for 2, and said they wanted marinara and something as their pastas. but the waiter wrote, the pasta for 2, with an additional marinara and the other. haha! so we had like 10 portions of pastas for just the 8 of us. crazy! but they managed to finish everything, except the marinara as it was too dry.
finished lunch, and everyone went off, leaving chung nick and i. so decided to go down to the city to watch a movie. we watched "
my sister's keeper". it was such a sad movie. you guys should watch it! it was sad throughout the whole of the movie. the beginning wasnt really that sad tho, and everyone was still watching normally. but towards the middle, you could hear sniffs all round the cinema haha. was funny, but i was one of those
sniffers as well (: i cried a whole lot, and even nick and chung teared. haha. nick's left arm was damp when we came out of the cinema, and you could see everyone's red eyes and sniffs too haha. seriously,
go watch it.
nick said we were going to engkit's place to hang out awhile cause he said engkit felt bad for not spending much time with me during my birthday haha. so i said okay. but nick said engkit was still out with a girl, so had to wait an hr before we could go there. so chung nick and i went to starbucks and sat around, talking bout just random funny stuff over coffee and hot chocolate haha.
finally the hr ended, and we headed to engkit's place by tram. went up to his room, and when he opened the door, omgg, everyone was inside! nick panned
another surprise for me, and this time it was a surprise party. but the funny thing was he was msging so much earlier, that i was suspecting something. but he swore that he didnt plan anything anymore. and then suddenly poof, a surprise party comes out haha! but yeah, i was really surprised. turns out engkit didnt go on that "date" after all. haha! everyone was there, including mel and suann.
so yeah, spent the night taking loads of pics, drinking and just laughing around. and they even bought me a cake from brunettis. i went to the toilet halfway through the night, and when i came out, eveyrone just started singing happy birthday and all. haha, so sweeet (: but unfortunately, no one took a pic of that cake! ahha! everyone just couldn wait to dig in, the cake looked and tasted awesome. i went to brunetti's website and found a pic of the cake to show you guys :D
doesnt it just look good haha. its called
"Profiterolel". even the name sounds nice. all those roundish things are cream puffs! and the chocolate coat is well, chocolate. haha.
next day, woke up, and came back home. and thus was the end of my birthday weekend. was a great one, i really had fun and all the surprises were really surprises haha. eventhough chung and mel neaaarly gave it away ;) but ah, oh well. and oh i cant really post up the pics from the night here, cause i didnt bring a camera, and yeah haha. so you guys would just have to see it through facebook if you wanna see it aight.
